Ran around in the morning trying to get a cure for my rooted throat. After morning tea with Nan and Pop I went into town and had lunch with Kevin and Monkey boy. Returned home with Laur and packed (quickly) so we would make our flight. A rough old flight it was too, but in all I was pretty glad to be back home.

Sometime during the day Laura found where I hid the digital camera....

That night we went out to dinner with some of the friends we never got to see last time we were in town. Met at some pub whose name escapes me at the moment, then went on to have dinner at that imaginatively named noshery, The Vietnamese Restaurant. That night we saw Shaun and Jo, Mike and Emma, Luke and Amanda, and Michelle.

Got suited up at Mirko and Paul picked us up at 10:00am. Grabbed Brett, then met Angelo at the Story Bridge Hotel. Hung there for drinks, photos and lunch, before heading to the Church at 2:00pm. Boy was it ever hot!

After the reception we went to the Heritage for more photographs till around 5:30pm, when the heavens opened and we headed for the reception. Spent most of the night stressing about my speech - it ended up good just poorly delivered - was so very disappointed.

Sometime after that my sore throat/bronchitis really set in, and I was glad to get home and some sleep.

Spent most of the day working on my speech. Went to the rehearsal at 6:00pm, then had dinner with Mirko at Big Fortune. Spent the greater part of the rest of the night working on my speech, finally getting to bed around 3:00am.
