Dinner at Onde

Our friends Michael [editors note: you bufoon - Michael never came up from Canberra because he was too busy with uni work. Bah, who writes this junk!] and Cate made the drive up from Canberra to visit us, so along with Greg and Andrea we went out for dinner at local Darlinghurst restaurant Onde. There was a bit of a wait at the restaurant, so we went for a few drinks at the the pub (whose name escapes me) on Darlinghurst Road.

Dinner was great, but I especially loved the Death Star themed wall treatments in the restaurant.

Perth Day5

Wednesday morning we went for another swim as the weather was so lovely and the ocean was so inviting and later that afternoon Dad and I walked through the city shops and I made arrangements to catch up with some friends Richelle and Alison in Northbridge for diner. What a great night, my girlfriends and I talked and laughed the night away as if we had never been apart.

Dave met us for a drink after diner and, as it turned out Dave saved Al a parking fine and we all parted vowing not to leave it so long again to catch up.

I had a great time in Perth and want to plan another trip over there with Royce next year.

Perth Day4

Tuesday we revisited Cottesloe beach this time for a lovely swim and fish and chips by the sea. That afternoon we went over to Grandma’s place and caught up with all the news of my cousins which was great.

Perth Day3

Monday we packed up the car and headed off south to the Margaret River region and visited many wineries and the old Caves Hotel, at Yallingup, where we stayed as kids. Dave and I bought a few bottles of wine and we headed back that evening for a good nights sleep.
