It was a nice day for a ride, so Laura and I decided to head south to Stanwell Park. Last time we followed the main roads, so this time we took the National Park road which, I must say, was pretty sweet for a motorbike.
We (like last time) had lunch at the Lawrence Hardgrave inspired Box Kite Cafe. I really am something of a super creature of habit. We rode home the way we came (I really am something of a super creature of habit).
It was our friend Sue's (coughcough)ith birthday. Jimmy and some other friends had organised a surprise party for her and Tim (it was also his 50th, and they have common friends) at the Observatory Hotel in the city. As both are writers, it made sense that the party was held in the library. Not quite sure why Colonel Mustard was carrying a piece of rope though.....
It was a fun party that went into the not too wee hours of the next morning.
