Kay-lee's Kings Cross visit
One of Laura's best friends from Brisbane, Kay-lee, and Kay-lee's friend Bel, took the opportunity of very cheap airfares through Jetstar to come and visit us (it was Bel's birthday and she'd never been to Sydney). By their own admission they had hooked into the drinks trolley on the flight down, and so were in pretty fine form when they reached us.
After a few drinks at home we headed out to experience a school night in the Cross. Our pizza at Hugo's was pretty good - we didn't stay long because the girls wanted to hit the strip, so we went up to Darlinghurst Road to look at all the neon.
We made it as far as the El Alamein fountain before deciding we'd had enough, and turned around to head back home. On the way the girls spotted the World Bar in Bayswater Road and so left us so they could boogie on, while Laura and I went home for coffee.
